Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Jaybee Bagunu started training at the age of 8 with Fresh Groove Productions. At age 13, she joined DREAM Dance Studio. Since she was 17-years-old, she has been travelling back and forth from Canada to LA to learn from industry and community choreographers, to teach at various studios, as well as perform/compete at events throughout North America. After winning a BZX Wave 5 scholarship & being personally mentored by Elm Pizarro, she became a member of Boogiezone’s Breed OCLA. In 2014, she was an assistant choreographer for Kayla Brianna. The year after, Jaybee choreographed & danced for Moka Only’s “No” music video. In the summer of 2017, she was one of the 5 handpicked girls to back up dance for Ginuwine in Southern California. Jaybee currently co-directs Untitled, teaches a weekly drop-in class at Studio 604, & is a cast member of Illustrative Society.
